Are you taking bookings during Covid-19 restrictions?

We are open but in order to do this safely we all need to follow Covid Safe Venue Guide and adhere to Queensland Government Covid guidelines.For more information, please go to http://suncoast.events/covid-19/

How do I get to the venue? Is it easily accessible?

Suncoast Convention Centre is located on the corner of Kiel Mountain and Schubert Roads, off Nambour Connection Road. You’ll find us just a 6 minute drive from the heart of Nambour and a 15 minute drive from Maroochydore.

What are the public transport options?

Buses are the most convenient and available mode of public trasport for Woombye. Call 13 12 20 or visit the Sunbus website which provides frequent bus services for the Sunshine Coast.  Another public transport option we have accessible is the public train system.  We have included a link from Brisbane City to the Woombye station timetable here (Note: the information on this link is updated daily for your convenience).

Is there disability access?

Access to our facilites is completely wheelchair and disability friendly. We have a full-functioning disabled toilet stall with wheelchair access to and from the auditorium entrance and exit points as well as as the café facilities our Centre offers.

Do you have Wi-Fi available?

Yes, we have Wi-Fi available for your convenience.

What is the earliest/latest time for my event?

Our venue can be accessed from as early as 7 am to as late as 11 pm, however we must remind all potential hirers that we do abide by the local noise level placed by Queensland Police for any event held at our facility.

Will a staff member be there for my event?

Yes, we appoint a Suncoast Floor Manager to assist you with your event, as well as allocated technicians to accommodate any of your lighting and sound needs.

Do I need my own public liability insurance?

Yes, you would need public liability insurance for your event.
